OuterEdit works with some of the world's top creative people to make artwork through a fresh online & real-time, 5-way collaborative format we call the 'O/E Collab'. Showcasing the acclaimed creatives' graphic skills and human take on the O/E Collab challenge as a group, the top-'hearted' artwork ultimately get inked on carefully constructed OuterEdit tees and are made available on our online store for the world to buy, and buy-into.

The aim? To celebrate the faces and processes behind the names of graphic design. Simply because Together, We Make Awesome.

What happens when graphic designers share pens, paper, markers, mice, pixels, brains and mad design chops to scour the depths of design together? A whole new world of meaningful creative expression! One which recognizes the creative people & processes involved as the key in collectively developing unique artwork unattainable by any method other than collaborations of the OuterEdit sort.

A visual spectacle of collective creativity, artwork evolution and human demeanor, the OuterEdit Collaboration (or O/E Collab for short), is the world's first online, real-time 5-way collaborative graphic art/design platform - and one that leverages a growing community of the world's best creatives who rock their respective art disciplines (illustration, animation, digital imaging, typography, 3D, you name it) and are game to mash hybrid art with their equally awesome peers.

Typically lasting ten days and organized on a monthly basis, each O/E Collab features top class creatives in teams of 5 as they exchange, build-upon or even break each other's artwork over multiple days to highly unpredictable & entertaining collaborative effect.

THE MECHANICS

1. Five esteemed creatives from all over the world converge on OuterEdit
2. OuterEdit makes a themed challenge they can't refuse
3. Stage 1: Everyone coughs up a solo artwork based on the theme
4. Stage 2: Everyone can rework any other artwork that catches their eye, whilst not losing focus from where its being derived from
5. Stage 3 onwards: Everyone can repeat the above process multiple times over the span of seven days
6. Near real-time updates of the creatives and design processes occur throughout www.OuterEdit.com but also on Facebook, and Twitter (@OE_Collab)
7. OuterEditors experience the wonder of art unfolding before their very eyes and are empowered to vote, comment and share
8. Stage 4: The submission round is immediately followed by three additional days dedicated purely for 'hearting'
9. The top few most 'hearted' artwork by the end of the three day hearting period earn the right to be printed on OuterEdit limited edition apparel; making their creators overall winners
