FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE SUITE
Capturing the Transformation as a Singapore Day Slowly Glides to Night
Over a Singapore FORMULA 1 race weekend, the Singapore Tourism Board hosts VVIPs from far and wide in a custom designed hospitality space that encourages networking opportunities without detracting from the comfortable enjoyment of the race festivities.
Together with our partners from Pico World, it was an honour to be commissioned to lead the holistic design experience of the 2016 Singapore Suite, and to be given the chance to delight guests with a multifaceted spatial experience comprising overarching narratives and meaningful collaborations with some of the best and budding creative minds Singapore has to offer.
They say Singapore is a city that never sleeps
As day slowly fades to night, our city is bathed in the splendour of a warm glow. It's golden hour. This is an ideal time to wind down and chill to a slower, quieter beat. For many Singaporeans, the day has only just begun, and dusk marks a new beginning. With the dark sky as their backdrop, nocturnal communities emerge to exchange inspiration and rewrite the rules. For them, the night is full of possibilities.

It was imperative to us that the overarching day-to-night-singapore theme was manifested through every single touch point — curated works of art, contemporary finishings, food, drinks, sound. We aimed to delight all senses. Materials, colours, lighting & textures were also carefully considered to create the desired ambience and guest experience.
Showcasing Singapore’s transformation from golden hour to the wee hours of the morning, each floor of the Singapore Suite while identical in layout, treated guests to two completely distinct spatial environments, experiences and stories.
